DataWars new dashboard goes live!

We are very excited to announce a major overhaul of our platform. This new release includes a completely redesigned dashboard, some gamification elements and improved analytics. Before we jump into details, here's a quick overview:

Home sweet home: A new dashboard

DataWars is a platform to which our users return often. If you have a few hours to spare, it's a great opportunity to sit and try a new challenge. That's why for us, it's crucial to provide you the shortest path to your next Project. Our new home includes several quick access to your currently started Skill Track, Unfinished projects, and suggestions for next tracks to try out.

Gamification and Improved Analytics

Gamification is a key component of DataWars and we're gradually implementing features and functionality. For our first gamification mechanic, we chose Streaks. Streaks are important because they will help you maintain consistency in your practice. The core value behind DataWars is to apply all the Data Science "theory" that you learn, into real life, practical projects. A few minutes every day makes a huge difference.

We've also improved analytics to give you a better overview of when you're achieving your best performance.

A new Skill Track home page

Our catalog of projects is growing extremely fast (+80 and counting). We needed a better way to organize them. With this new version, each Skill Track is divided into different "Skills", that are generic/abstract topics. Each Skill contains a set of related projects.

To "gain" a skill, you need to complete the associated assessment.
